EADS CASA workers protest against US
Voicing opposition to the United States, EADS CASA workers at six plants in Spain held a simultaneous protest January 17, El Universal reports from Madrid.
The workers oppose the blockage of the sale of 58 US-made components of the EADS CASA CN-235 and C-295 military transport aircraft being sold to the Chavez regime.
Spanish Defense Minister Jose Bono (pictured with Chavez), EADS CASA officials and others were in Caracas last November to sign the deal with the dictator, over strong US objections on national security grounds.
